#14: The Gentlemen's Ploy, Two Rehearsals

Just a super-quick entry here. First, I want to apologize for not having kept up with these blog posts, but I have been working day and night on preparing piano parts. This is something I thought the orchestrator would do. But we ran into both a schedule and budget crunch and had to eliminate the position of orchestrator, so I’ve had to prepare the piano parts, along with everything else I already had to do.

We’ve now had the first two rehearsals. They were both singing rehearsals, and I’m here to tell you there are great singers in this show. At the second rehearsal they were getting the harmony parts down and it was making the hair on the back of my neck stand up. Wow! This is something you won’t want to miss. And then the songs! What wonderful songs! Oh, that’s right, they’re my songs. But, hey, they’re still good!
